Culture

The spirit in our Dutch practice is entrepreneurial; we are a young practice that’s still evolving. Because of the size of our organization, everybody is easy to access and the structure is flat.

The culture is co-operative. We believe your colleagues are one of the most important sources to learn from, and therefore we are always ready to help each other by sharing our knowledge, functioning as a sparring partner or simply to have a good chat. Once a month, we hold a BearingPoint Knowledge session, where one of our consultants presents experiences or new developments in his or her specialty area. We also regularly hold B-Read lunch sessions, in which colleagues discuss recent management books.

Work/life balance is something we believe in strongly at BearingPoint. We believe that our people take ownership for their responsibilities and make sure that the job is done. That is why we are open-minded about flexible working hours, working from home and other solutions.

As consultants, we love to meet new people, and to get to know our clients. And we also love to keep in touch with our colleagues.

On Fridays, we go for drinks to discuss the week and start the weekend in style. We have yearly Christmas dinners; Sinterklaas pays our office a visit; we also participate in running events, such as the 7-heuvelenloop; and trainings abroad with large groups of our international colleagues.
